I am helping a possum friend of mine that just took in a squirrel (about 5 weeks old) that
was bitten by a cat, cannot see the vet until Monday --but they have TMZ (a possum med)
on hand that kills bacteria infections...... is this safe for a squirrel to take?

They are getting weight and dose of med for me.

OK - it looks like TMZ is another name for Metacam and that is not what we need.
He weighs 60 grams (and) we are trying to find some Cipro or Baytril.

Any friends with aquariums that might have Fish Flox? Same as cipro. Big chain pet stores don't carry it but a small independent one might have it. I have only been able to locate it online.

Looks like she has some SMZ-TMP on her vet account --they are going to give her some.
What would be the dose be for a 60 gram squirrel? --just making sure they get it right.

Rhapsody, I have Fish Flex Forte and I also have Cephalexin (for the stingray sting) if you need it. Both are 500 mg capsules.
