Baby squirrel not gaining weight

Baby squirrel about 4 to 5 weeks old ...was found in cats mouth..been feeding for 3 days and he eats but not gaining weight ..also his cheeks feel hard like.. crusty ... I've only done this once before but it was with a baby that fell out of tree... I don't remember cheeks feeling like that...he seems ok otherwise ... I will post a pic as soon as I figure out

Do you have antibiotics? Cat saliva is toxic. Tell us what kind you have and how much he weighs and we can tell you how to dose. What big city are you near? We have many FL members. What are you feeding? Is he well hydrated? Pics would be very helpful.
