Okay, I know that I should remember this, but I don't...:shakehead
I am picking up a baby that is loaded with fly eggs (so I am told). Does Capstar kill the eggs or just the maggots? Will a combo of Revolution and Capstar be the way to go? The girl who has him is trying to get the eggs off since I am in the middle of feeding and can't leave to go get him yet.
God help me, I HATE worms of all sorts!!!:soapbox

Sounds like it does. IR mentions internal eggs. Ithink you have to use a flea comb to get them out of the fur.

Okay, I have the baby and I cannot say enough about the wonderful job that the finder did removing the fly eggs! I could have used her help this summer on several occasions...:grin3
Now, he is in tough shape. I have him warm and we are hydrating him, but he was gasping when I picked him up and he is still gasping. Watch his mouth in the video below if possible. Should I start him on cipro?

Sandy had tons of fly eggs on her when I found her. Maybe a couple hundred in clumps or just single eggs stuck in the fur. They were even in her mouth and nose and anus. We just took small tweezers and picked and brushed them all off by hand. It took maybe 30 mins. but wasn't that big of a deal for us.

Now if only she would come home some day so I could tell her how much I love and miss her. :boohoo

I would start the abs. Gayle.
You know I love the pneumonia video, but I swear,
I have had sick squirrels that do not sound like that.
I have taken them to Joy, and sure enough pneumonia.
Soooooooooooooooo, I err on the side of dosing in this case.
When something like this happens, you almost HAVE
to dose abs. because this breathing is just not right.
Remember probiotics 2 hours prior or 2 hours after.
I know you already know that. :poke
