Is it OK to trim their nails? I'm used to nail trimming on Sugar Gliders, but not sure if it's ok for squirrels. My little ones nails are 'sharp'! If it's ok, I would only do it until it's close to the time for her release.

Yes, it is ok to trim their nails........ just do it with alternating paws.
Trim the right front and left back one week --then alternate the next
week..... this helps the squirrel to still be able to climb and hang on.

How would you trim their nails? Baby fingernail clippers?

Forgive me for chiming in here but I have a question pertaining to this.....when trimming do you only trim the 'white tip' of the nail or how does that work?

Yes, only trim the white part known as the nails. If you go past that you will cut into the quick and they will bleed.
