tail hair falling out in large amounts

My 2 year old grey is loosing his tail fur in large amounts. He eats HHB and veggies with fruits . He is a Nero Boy and has seizures every so often. I was giving extra calcium on his apples but now he has been turning his nose up at it. Could this be from time of year? im going to try and get a picture as soon as he comes out of his box.

Adult males from my observation tend to go into a funk this
time of year. Not sure why.



Tail hair loss I always up their protein (whey protein isolate)
by mixing it into yogurt or applesauce. Have had great
success doing this.

I have not tried yogurt, and applesauce he turns his nose up at... I do have the Healthy Vita-Mins powder but he wont eat anything with it on it, also have the calcium Carbonate powder that I give because of his seizures. where can I get the protein?

My nero Alex will prun his tail time to time lol and it looks awful but then it grows back... I wouldn't worry unless it starts to get really bad or he chews his tail..you got pics?

He has shed before but nothing like this..... his box is covered with fur and and when he runs it just falls out :(

I haven't seen him pruning or chewing , I will get picks once he comes out of his box, he has a seizure this am and he usually sleeps a few hrs after they happen :( ...I wonder if there is anything he is lacking or could have more of like a supplement

is he on any meds for his seizures?? and I by chance caught alex doing it.. they usualy do it when you aren't watching but could be something else would be able to help more with good pics..

the vet Buddy saw said his seizures are not close enough or frequent enough to be put on meds.. and now that im in NC I dnt have any wildlife vets here..or at least that I know of...... He has about 2 to 3 seizures a month

He had the biggest bushiest beautiful full tail... now its so thin:( do you think he will loose all the fur ?
