yes I have all I need except my brain..lol but he is a good baby and walks me right through it... he eats very good. wish I had a miracle nipple lol.. right now just doing it drop by drop.. well half a drop/.. the clock is to slow I want to go get my girl..

My new baby is doing good.he is eating good and a piglet. The only thing wrong ist his wittle swollen head. But it looks like it is healing..but oh my the every 3hrs is hard on me with all that is going on. But this is the story of how I took him. As u know we work on a hot line for people to call and send us animals that tney find. Well the girl working it yesterday could not get anyone to respond to take it so she asked the finder for a pic of the baby and put it out in email as needing help again and well I seen the pic and could not stand it so I took him,Now I have 3 rehabbers asking me to take him but I am not sure I want to let him go just yet.. I know I have a lot on my plate but umm she seems to calm me the few minutes it takes to feed her.. I look at he luttle cut bruised up face and well I have faith things will work out. Then its back to my stresed out crazy life. But it ks nice to have that few ninutes of calmness. Soo not sure I want to give him up just yet..lol

My boy is doing great. . Still black and blue and swollen but every thing else is good. Still havent thought of a name. Well I was thinking of Conner but not sure I am spelling it right. What do u all think?:Love_Icon

Conners head is healing but the cut on his eye has like a busted blister look.. going to put sylvadine on it.. he is on baytril. Other than the nasty cat bite he is doing good..:Love_Icon

I am posting a pic of his boo boos... the one on his eye looks bad but it is seeping clear stuff like a blister.. put sylvidine on it.. just a small amount and he is on baytril. bruised also..

its a blister from the cats bite.. it was sliced.. it looked better just now when I fed the verbal Connor. can we change the tread name to conner now... and he can be moved to the nursery.. thanks

I over slept lol my poor Connor was starving.. he should have ate at 730 I slept till 9 lol but he ate good and was fine.. eye looks better..

just fed him and noticed he is getting some nose hair..lol black.. letting him get warm back up and will get a pic..lol the pinkies get cold quick when feeding I try to keep him bundled..

here is the little monster lol he would not stop wiggling in my hand so I laid him down and this way you can see how big he is.. look close to see whiskers.. and the one where it looks as if I am holding his snout...lol I am.. he would not be still and you can see the somewhat muscle in his legs as he is fighting me..lol glad it only took a second.... lol and just a squeaking at me..lol the little notts in his head, I don't know if they are normal or if its fron where the cat crunched on his head.. his eyes are also starting to form, see they eye notts.. lol I love the every feeding changes they go through... lol

well if you go to the first pics you can see it got the corner of the slit but then bubbled into a blister.. soo now it is drying out and his eye is starting to form normaly.. yayyyy close call

concerned about Conner tonight.. his last 2 feedings were not the same.. no not once has he aspirated may just worrying to much but he kinda is smacking his lips like he is eating here and there and well he is verbal but this is like winey.. hope e is ok his cuts are healing great and he is growing, it would break my heart if something happens to him now.. we have come soo far..he is very squirmy still, not lethargic and no ticking other than the noise he is making with his lips or tong

soo what do you all think? should baytril help prevent or fight off pneumonia.. I have not aspirated at all.. just worried we have come too far for him to go down now. I feed drop by drop and we have miracle nipples in the mail to him. I don't have any that small because I usually don't get pinkies.. soo I know for a fact he has not aspirated. nothing as ever came out nose and he has never gagged.. he has had a habit of wanting to suck the 1cc syringe but I wont let him..lol and he will suck his tong to the roof of his mouth when eating but I stop and call his attention.. soo I just got a nagging in my head something is going on and I cant figure out if something is wrong.. OR NOT.. just he is acting different. but still wiggly if not more and e is eating but seems different.

ok umm just gave connor his last feeding for the night and he seemed fine other than his urge to suck the syringe lol soo may be a false alarm better safe than sorry I guess.. so much for no stress lol I will be watching him close though.. miracle nipples on the way then he can suck away,,:rolf4

he has 2 to 3 more days on baytril.. should I continue it.:confused:. or stop it.. his head it just got scabs on it now nothing to worry about with infection anymore they are almost healed I will post new pics tonight if needed but if not some will be up tomorrow..

new baby john doe for now till he leaves in the morning is doing great.he is sooo sweet and silky soft. but the good thing is that it will be a trade off she has a pinky to keep conner warm and cozy. he is a little older just getting some fuz but still pinky. not much info yet but watch for it tomorrow.. ;)

Continue the run of Baytril. You should always finish the full course. It would certainly also fight any possible pneumonia.

I was told to always finish ABs ...just because if there is a bug in there and you quit early...the bug isn't killed and then it builds an immunity to the AB :thumbsup

I am doing good. tired but ok.. and mr Connor got him a buddy.. she is older but its ok she is 22 grms he is 12 grams and she getting 5 o clock shadow.it is hard to find a buddy as small as him lol. here they are lol he wuvs her her name is Faith.. soo can the thread be changed to Connor and Faith?

connor is back to acting weird again just fed him and he is like breathing in his mouth.. not guppy mouth but it is scaring me... he does this after eating..what in the world and he is looking frail.. I am confused to how one feeding he is fine and the next he seem like something is wrong..
