Dislocated Shoulder

I've been caring for a baby squirrel for a week. He fell out of his nest on my property. He had some bruising but otherwise seemed fine. He seems to be thriving- eating formula, pooping, peeing, etc. As he's getting stronger and more active, I've realized that his shoulder is dislocated. He doesn't seem to be in pain, but it is obviously deformed and is less functional than his other arm.
I worry about him being euthanized if I turn him over to a vet or wildlife rehabber (that been my experience with other wounded animals).
Any advice?

I would think that if this is dislocated, that it could be put back into place. :dono
I mean they do this with humans, so why not?
I would imagine that it would have to stay immobilized for a while, but I
don't think that would be "too" difficult with a pinkie.
However, you would have to find a vet to do so.
I have an exotics vet that takes care of wildlife for a huge organization
up here. Most likely she would help you, or perhaps we
could find one closer.
Would you be willing to drive somewhere within a few hours if needed?

The squirrel (named Robert Mapplethorpe) has been on a heating pad 24/7. He's eating puppy formula (I already had a can in the pantry). I use a dental irrigation syringe that has a curved tip. He takes about 1 cc at a time. He is only interested in eating every 4 hours or so, maybe the puppy formula is slower to digest. I have better luck feeding him while he's on all fours in his box. He likes to suck the spilled formula off the cloth he's on. He poops on his own and pees with stimulation from a wet cotton ball.

This little one definitely needs a vet to check that arm.
I'm wondering if this one has a fractured arm, not dislocated. If it's dislocated it should "pop" back into place with proper manipulation. If it's fractured it needs to be set and immobilized. I imagine these little ones heal very quickly.
Can you feel the deformity?
Human babies tend not to dislocate because their joint spaces are very large.

Unfortunately, Robert Mapplethorpe died this morning. Over the past two days he seemed to be resistant to eating and he was having infrequent bowel movements. I buried him under the tree that he fell from, under his mother's nest.

Poor little guy! It was nice that you gave him a proper burial. Not that it matters now but I think the shoulder was fine. I think I saw a bump around his elbow or humerus. It might have been an abscess.
