Where to release In Easter NC

I am new to NC as of January. I have applied for my NC rehab license and cant obtain one until I have a spot to be able to release back into the wild (per wildlife officer) He said I would need permission from a owner of a property....... Can anyone give me any advice on how to find a ligit place to release around here.? I dnt want to just walk up to someones home that has woods and say heyyy....can I let some wildlife go in your yard :tilt
