How much would I give to Miracle? Her milk line is staying and she appears slightly bloated...:sad
Can I just give a drop from a 1cc syringe or is that too much?

Yes a small drop is fine.
I do wonder if she should be on the GM recipe. :dono

I will get yogurt in a little while. I will hydrate for now I guess. Or should I use the diluted Esbilac?

honey water (1/2 tsp honey to 1/2 cup warm water) and very diluted Esbilac (4:1) seemed to help 'Berto....plus a tiny drop of simethicone.

Thank you Maura...I have no honey and really can't leave again for a little while. I can't believe this is happening...:sad

SammysMom ...Bea seems to be going back and forth trying to bloat...it seemed the ABs helped...she seemed bloated, after the first dose next feeding she was better...right now she's going every other feeding...she'll look good the milk line will be gone...I feed her .6 cc's and next feeding she's still has the line. The next feeding its gone again and she eats :dono I'm only getting a tiny bit of soft poop...she's only 12 g I'm just grasping at straws...didn't know if you had any prepared ABs....the night I dipped her syringe in the baytril suspension I saw the best results :dono I know this is a desperate measure...just thought I'd share :grouphug

For these tiny guys I wonder if VitalHN could help (think I have that name right) it's predigested to help with nutrient absorption.

Sweeper, I think if Bea is going at all -- even every other feeding -- she will not bloat. It's when they are totally stopped up that it happens, and in Susi's case it happened right before my eyes. I never ever want to see that again....

Oh good...she's scaring me to death...also she's not gaining weight ....or if so, very little :( I did give her a drop of simethicone not long ago...and she took maybe .2 cc's and she had poop on her bottom :thumbsup sorry to threadjack :hidechair

:thankyou

Try hydrating her between feedings, Sweep. It works wonders sometimes.
