I ordered Revolution from Joes pet meds and just waiting for it to get here. I was also told to treat my 2 yr old grey with Ivermection. is it safe to use both on him? and where can I buy the ivermectin? Not sure if he has mites, mange starting or fleas....I do know his ears bother him so im guessing he picked up ear mites as well

Definitely not Both. Ivermectin is actually a very potent toxin, so we recommend against it if they can be handled enough to use Rev.

How much do I give of the revolution?

Revolution is applied directly to the SKIN right between the shoulders on the neck. A normal eastern gray will need about 2 drops of it. It is applied every 30 days. You need to part the hair and get the stuff right on their skin.
Close and seal the container VERY well so you can retreat in 30 days. Revolution will take care of the mites as well as any fleas and a number of other parasites.

The Revolution treatment will also kill mites that bite him in his nest. You can repeat the Revolution treatment in 30 days or so. No more than 1-2 small drops applied directly to the skin on the neck behind the head each time you treat.
Probably the best way to treat a nest box (with removable roof) would be with a steamer. Boiling water would also kill anything inside his box.
