Is there any way that I could get a license even if I don't plan on getting an animal? Like an emergency type of thing? I live in the country, so it is bound to happen. My neighbor bought a coyote from someone & said that it was really shy & bit him. I said that was likely it's a wild animal & she's probably scared. I asked if he had her with him & he said he shot her.... I asked how long he had her & he said three days.... WHAT. Broke my heart. Can't stand people like that. I'm no expert but in my opinion any animal who is being transferred around like a bag of money is going to be scared & irritated. As we all would be! I told him Dogs can take longer than three days to come around. he said that's different. A dog & coyote are different types of animals... I quit arguing, it's not like I didn't know they were different animals, I wouldn't have cared what animal he would have done this to, still upsets me! no need in arguing with an IDIOT. sorry but, Every animal is different. Animals know who to trust.
So i would like to avoid something like this ever happening around my house again.
We need to conserve wildlife as much as possible!!

Oh my, I see you haven't received any responses to your question yet. First get ahold of your state's wildlife governing office, and ask what their requirements are to be licensed. Then go about finding resources and acquiring what you need. Each state is different and each wants different knowledge, time, etc. to license a rehabber.
