Damian is a blue heeler mix.
He will be 7 in August.
He eat Adult Nutrition Pedigree dog food.
He is over weight and fixed.
He has this red, hard as a rock bump on the top of his foot.
Been there maybe a week or two. and has grown in size.
There isn't puss in it. Already checked.
Any one know what this is?
I wish I had the money for the vet, but I just don't.
I cant even come up with the money.
Pleaase someone if you know please tell me.
Attached is two pictures, one of my boy and the other of the bump.

chybear, I am really truly NO expert in this, but when I saw the pic I thought, 'that looks like what I had on my face two years ago -- squamous cell carcinoma. Skin cancer.' I looked up "tumor on paws" and found that squamous cell carcinomas in dogs do occur, especially in the bed of the nail. It may not be this, but if it is the dog needs veterinary attention, quick. I apologize if this upsets you -- but this is what I found. :(

This is a very treatable form of cancer and if treated early is a simple fix with great outcome!

Thank you for doing research for me. I figured it was some kind of tumor....
I am trying to get the money together to take him to the vet. They do allow payments, but I gotta pay the Visit amount then they will take some off my credit card once its there.
It is truly heartbreaking. He's been my rock and when he needs me to help I just cant seem too. Ive doctored it for a week now but no progress just got worse.

I hear ya...I did the same with the one I had. Picked, medicated, scraped, soaked, you name it. I hate going to doctors of any kind. Even put wart stuff on it. Finally went to the dermatologist and it took her 8 seconds to tell me what it was. A biopsy confirmed.
