Baby squirell found down in Watham Massachusetts

Can anyone go and pick up the baby that was found in someone's driveway in Waltham mass? She currently has him in a box with a warm rice sock but doesn't have any expertise in this area, and I am up in Temple New Hampshire right now. Her cell is (781) 354-0846 and her name is lauren ... Thank you

Lauren has him in a box right now with a warm rice sock in the blanket but that's about it and I told her to just keep him in another room with the box covered

I just spoke to Lauren, she has not heard from anyone. I told her about Joann and she said she could bring him to her. Waiting to hear back again from Joann. I told her if she had not heard from her in two hours to let me know.

Is she at least giving this little one some hydration? Can whoever is in touch with her tell her how - eyedropper will work in a pinch - you can even empty and thoroughly clean an eye droop container and use that...

She was going to get pedialyte and give him fluids. Joann had an emergency of her own but would call her later. I will call her back in a bit, but she was going to go get fluids and a syringe from pharmacy.

Baby is here, name (from finder) is Mikey. Just got fluids in and he has already snuggled up with the nine, same age. Looks good, pee very yellow. Just took about 9 cc's of homemade pedialyte.

I love that his sisters are grooming him. What a sweet little puss! Everyone: the whole trip was worth it just to hold his little wiggly self. Big kudos to Lauren and hubby for rescuing him and keeping him safe.

Mykie's adorable, chubby robustness is what saved him, I think, from all those hours of dehydration/starvation. He had a little to spare, thank goodness! Yaaaaay Mary -- your heart is always open and so is your door :bowdown :Love_Icon

Thanks guys. He actually was alot more dehydrated than his appearance shows. Gave him fluids every 2 hours last night. Late night feeding thougth I would just try a little diluted formula. Nope, vomited it right back up. Back to fluids. Will try again later today. But he loves his homemade pedialtye! Well, thirteen is an unlucky number anyway...lol He is the exact age/size of most of my nine, so it was meant to be!:Love_Icon

Heres something kinda funny to add to the story, or a perhaps a little bit of kismet. I do 'those' parties for Athena's ; hence the name 'Goddess' .. Lauren (the finder) booked a party with another goddess and the other goddess couldn't do it so she gave it to me.

Since lauren knew about my Ivan, she contacted me right when she found mikey and well.....the rest is history!

funny how it all came full circle in a crazy way and I'm so thankfuk for this page!
