Breaths are getting further apart.....just last night she was playing all crazy, eating and drinking. I wish I knew what to tell her to do to save her

If you get no answer quickly, I might give a call to 2ndhandranch, a member here, who posts her (Nancy) number on FB and runs a facility where I know they've done coons many time before:
Call me on my cell 309.738.7480 if you have an animal question

Not my number, Nancy's, and she's in IL, which is at 6:12 AM. She's probably up though, with her brood. Hate to call on her again, bus she's so open and such a professional, so concerned with her furred and featherd friends. This world would be so different with more people like her.

I had this happen with a young possum once. There was a very fast downturn (overnight like yours) and labored breathing. It was due to an internal infection I didn't catch going septic. The downturn is very fast and fatal without treatment. This might be the same thing that your friend went through.

I'm so sorry, Renee. Little one had a lot stacked against her. RIP sweet little one.
