Chipmunk tail

Hi Everyone,
One of Max's babies tail fur seems quite thin at the base, epecially when he is wary and his tail bushes up(only way i can describe it). I can see through the fur when his tail does this and can see skin which doesnt happen with the others. Is something wrong or i it jut the way he is? Please advise me because i have to know he is ok before its time to go to his new home.

Is there any discoloration or irritation to the skin? Is he itching or digging at it? If not I won't be to concerned about it. :)

No nothing like that, hes abit scrawny anyway i think its just the way he is. Now i have another problem though, 1 of the boys has what looks like a scratch? can you please confirm it is a scratch though? They are all at that age they they fight over food, they all seem to want the same nut even if theres loads more the same lol

I have seen this happen if they are not getting enough sunlight.
