Prednisone Dose NEEDED!!

Could some please dose Prednisone 5mg for a 270 gram squirrel? --Darla was brought to me this morning with an injured back left
leg that she is not able to move away from her what so ever. I gave her some Motrin at 8:00 am for the discomfort and she was eager
to take some hydration from me at that time as well. Darla is sleeping all bundled up in fleece on a heating pad atm. :Love_Icon

How many pills do you have?

You CANNOT give her the pred. for at least 36 hours after dosing infant ibuprophen.
I will double check that amount of time, but you cannot give it today for sure....I will still
break it down and give you the amount to give her tomorrow.

OK so she could be given the pred. tomorrow morning?
Rhapsody, if you have or could get Tramadol, she can have that
and still be given the pred. tomorrow. The Tramadol will help with the pain.

Ok - that is no problem.... .I will hold off until tomorrow morning to give her the other med.
and I have plenty of Prednisone, as I take it for my RA --this lady has achy bones. :eek

She seems to be well..... she is drinking 20 cc of the new Esbilac at each feeding and is taking a liking to the hhb.
Darla has even attempted to sit up a little on her hind legs and its moving the hurt leg away from her body. :tilt
