Is it a good idea to give my 7-8 month old squirrel tums? She eats kaytee blocks. She was eating brocolli and cauliflower but I had to switch her to mostly carrots 'cause, I guess, she was bored of those.i try to give her celery, kale, and cilantro, but she won't eat those. And I give her a nut and a couple of piece of fruit every evening.
If I should give her tums, how much? And how often? Thanks in advance!

I have occasionally given mine a Tums without vitamin D if I suspect they may be a little low on calcium, but I don't know about giving them on a regular basis. I use powdered calcium carbonate for that and just sprinkle a little bit on their food and it seems to work great.

How do obtain this calicium carbonate?
How do obtain this calicium carbonate?
HENRY'S SELLS IT. AS FAR AS THE VEGGIES GO, I HAVE FOUND THAT IF I AM CONSISTENT WITH THE MENU, THEY WILL EVENTUALLY EAT WHAT I GIVE THEM. LEAF LETTUCE, SPRING MIX OR ROMAIN, CHUNKS OF BUTTERNUT SQUASH, A GRAPE TOMATO CUT IN HALF, MUSHROOM SLICE, KUMQUAT OR MANDARIN SLICE, A FEW BROCCOLI AND CAULIFLOWER PIECES, BRUSSELS SPROUT CUT IN HALF. SUGAR SNAP PEAS, A FEW LITTLE CHUNKS OF AVOCADO, AND A COUPLE BLUEBERRIES. ALMOST THE SAME EVERY DAY AND I LEAVE IT THERE FROM EARLY AFTERNOON UNTIL MORNING WHEN I GIVE A SMALL BOWL OF FOX VALLEY AND THEN BLOCKS (WHICH MUST BE EATEN BEFORE THE SALAD.)
