I have raised both grey's and flyers but never at the same time. I have a 10 week old flyer that is weaned and housed alone and a 5 week old grey that just opened his eyes yesterday. I wouldn't think they could be caged together but they must get alone in the wild. My question is should I keep these two as far apart as I can? Has anyone ever raised two different ones together?

I would definitely keep them apart....
Greys are solitary in the wild, flyers are communal among
their own.
It's my understanding that they would not and should
not be housed together.

My personal experience is my grey would have killed the flyer I
had for release if she could have got hold of her.

I have my four flyers (each in their own cage) and one of my nr greys in the same room, but they never interact with each other. Do not put them together in the same cage.

Not only that, but flyers are nocturnal and greys are diurnal. Definitely not good roommates.

I had to hide my flyer so my NR grey never saw her let alone smell her!
One of the worst azz whoopings I got was when I forgot to change my shirt after
feeding the flyer!
And no lie! To this day, almost 2 years and many washings later, I still
can not wear that shirt around my grey without getting bit with an attitude!
Trust me, she reminds me very quickly what shirt I have on when I forget!
