I looked at the link and this is the same Squirrel Contest we tried to stop last year in New York...... Does
any one know what came from the protest and the news coverage this awful event got?

I did get this from the bottom of the news article. Those in NY need to contact their state representatives and push for these measure to go through the State.

"FoA (Friends of Animals) is also urging for passage of a NYS bill that would ban these wildlife killing contests and asks supporters to help pass this bill by calling your NY Senator and Assembly member and asking them to co-sponsor and pass Senate Bill # 4074 and Assembly Bill # 03661"

Last year the a$$holes sponsoring the contest said they killed twice the squirrels.as the year before. Said they loved the publicity. I don't know how the afterlife works but taking pleasure in killing defenseless animals for FUN surely rates some nasty retribution. Hope they enjoy hell.

I just stopped donating to Fire Departments. When they ask me why I tell them what their brothers are doing and state that until it is stopped I will not contribute. I've even had a few company's call me back after they looked it up to apologize for the actions of the idiots in NY. Sadly, the only way I think anything can be done is to hit them where it hurts and that is in the wallet, all of them. This way their brothers will fight for us....hopefully.

Thank you. I feel bad not donating to my local company, cause they are the ones that will save my house and they did nothing wrong, but it was the only way I could think of getting someone to help, maybe.
