Someone gave me a bag of All Bran buds. The ingredients are: Wheat Bran, Sugar, Psyllium seed husk, salt, baking soda, bht, iron, thiamine hydrocloride, d-calcium pantothonate, pyrodoxine hydrocloride, folic acid.
Although I'm not crazy about the sugar or salt in there I really don't know much about the other products in this maybe some out there can shed some light. I did look each one of these up on the web and seem to be some sort of "B" vitamins but Idk especially about the "BHT"
I haven't given it to my "NUTS" yet but if it is ok I thought I could make some sort of a treat with it.
My "NUTS" are on a proper diet and I currently make my own blocks using Henry's "Vitamins" and "Protein Isolate"
I am so grateful to all of you out there, TSB and Henry's. I don't know where we and so many out there would be with out you all.
There is so much misinformation out there.
We and our "NUTS" Thank you all and wish you all a Happy New Year!

A little as a treat would probably be okay. Squirrels in nature actually eat a pretty low carb diet. They don't eat grains like wheat and barley, they eat lots of greens and twigs, and even nuts are low carb. One of the things that Leigh worked hard to do is make the HHBs low carb to match, which is why they don't have wheat or corn flour in them. But the bran buds will be very high in carbs. So I would use them as an occasional treat.
