tinfoilIsland Rehabber approved this message :grin2- She suggested I start this thread:

I raised and soft released my favorite furry chargee over a month ago. He's now in the oak trees doing what little squirrels are suppose to do.

It will soon be Spring again. I have both an outside soft release and an inside cage purpose built a another non-forever juvenile that needs help. I don't feel I'm experienced enough to take on an eyes closed baby..
Unfortunately NR's are out of the question.

Please -- Young Releasable Juvenile Greys Only

If in Northwest Florida and you have a needy squirrel or have questions about your squirrel in need contact me via the board. I'd like to hear from you,Toybox

tinfoilThanks Stepnstone! This is Spiffy before release at 7 months. I had to build the 'Condos' to accomodate his sailboat ears. Wink:thumbsup Hope the next one has the biggest fluffy tail. 221257

Oh goodness Toybox, I just love Spiffy! Is he still around regularly?
Any little squirrel would be lucky to have you to raise him/her!:Love_Icon:Love_Icon:Love_Icon

tinfoilHi Sammy's Mom, Spiffy is a 'mover and shaker' grin. I think I see him often..But honestly there are two well fed males that look exactly like Spiffy who come to lunch at one of my feeders or the outside enclosure. I wouldn't want to bet which one is Spiffy.:Love_Icon

Never-the-less, both seem happy, fast and very much alive -- which is the point of all of our work, isn't it?? Merry Christmas to all Squirrels and Board Members alike. As the people of the United Kingdom would say, "Safe Journey" to all.
