Put him/her on your shoulder and spin for 30 seconds. It's a hoot. Drunk, but without the hangover.

I'm retired and have to entertain this guy for 18 hours a day. Sorry. Maybe I should give him a beer. :tilt

Actually, the most fun is when I give him a piece of cloth. He has no choice but to climb the curtains to make a nest. It's hard-wired.

Why should people be the only ones to enjoy altered states?

As someone with vertigo, I think that this isn't a great idea. Dizziness sucks, especially when you're an animal who's so reliant on balance.

Not every orphan gets to be raised by an expert. I'm raising mine like I did my child. He turned out OK, and is part way to his PHD.

I turn 5 times then stop. He's kewl. Turn 10 times then stop, he's fine. turn 30 or so times, and he's wasted.
This guy can climb up or down anything, and is not a passive rider. We build roller-coasters and spinning cups.
He seems to like it.
Sorry for offering a "bad" idea.

Sometimes we all have to "muddle through" something. For you, this is NOT one of those times. You have the good fortune of having a group of incredibly caring people here to help you NOT to harm this beautiful creature that you claim to care about. To continue doing something harmful is disgraceful. You came here for help, not to taunt people who do their best by flaunting your foolishness and the harm you are causing this baby who depends upon you and trusts you to do the right thing.
Just because I can let my 6 year old do something dangerous, doesn't mean that I SHOULD do that and then say "Oh well, I was stupid". It is one thing to do things we do not know better than to do. As of the moment someone told you it was dangerous you became abusive and it is no longer an accident when he comes to harm.

Who's never sat their baby in a rocking chair and nursed them? G Forces. Who's never sat in a spinning chair and spun around?
