FV Formula Versions... I goofed

I ordered FV from Henrys lay last weekend for Nibbles the tailess wonder. I didn't realize till it came in that there were two versions. I got the 20/50 Formula. So I'm guessing I need to order the other one now, correct? We are at at 23 g now (gained 3g in 36hours on new formula.. I was using straight Esbilac but now using the FV +hc combo.) great stools. Good appetite.

Estimating age at 6-7weeks. Still underweight overall but gaining well

I'd call them. They may exchange it or tell you how to supplement more protein (as flyers need more).

Yes, by all means call them and see if they will exchange it. Flyers will always be on the 32/40 due to the protein requirements that they have. It won't hurt to continue with the 20/50 just until you get the right formula in. Glad to hear Nibbles is gaining! Great news!

I've already opened it and started using it, so I wouldn't ask them to take it back. I may try to call them though to see if I can add something to it to be able to use it.. otherwise I guess I will have a bag to donate.

I roll up the formula into little balls for mine to eat. Thats a good way to use it up and they love it too! It keeps for a while so Im sure you will use it eventually.

If your little one is over 4 weeks old you can use the 20/50 (just change back after) --Its All Good!!
