Bur acorns can get HUGE so I thought they might be fun, but I guess there is a point when big is just too big!

Seriously...look at the size of this thing! And they can get even bigger!

YES and they LOVE them!! I sent Jackie a huge box and about to send some to jbillings. Took some to Laura and lilidukes too. They said their kids love them too!! They even like to pick at and eat the green when they're not quite ripe like that!

That's it...I want some! I am going to have to buy some. We haven't gotten hardly any acorns this year, and most are buggy. I found a few green ones and put them in the freezer. Once they are brown, they are pretty much lost to "the worm". Does that sound right? I felt so bad when I gave skiddil a dark acorn and it was completely empty except for the worm! :sorry Skiddil!

Might want to give these a try. Squirrels in my neighborhood liked them. The shell isn't as thick and hard as other accorns:
