I don't know if the answer to your question is published anywhere but from observation I believe they are safe. The wild squirrels eat my Mom's guavas every year before she gets to pick them. She gets SO mad at the them. She said they don't even share, they eat them ALL! :jump:jump:jump

MY Mom has the same complaint only with apples!!!!!
