View Full Version : Flaxseed Casule 1000mg

I dropped a flaxseed capsule I was getting ready to give my dog and my squirrel grabbed it, ran, and was in attack mode if I came near her over it. Ate all the oil out of it. What are the consequences going to be with her eating such a high dose all at once?

Which sounds not so good. I would suggest giving lots of water to try to flush this through the system but I don't really know if using water to get rid of OIL will do anything...

She won't drink anything right now. I am worried about the loose stools happening. Ugh

How is this little one? Not drinking is not an option if the loose stool begins. Hydration is VERY important.

Knock on wood the loose stools have not shown up. I hope she is going to be okay. She must have needed something in the flaxseed oil cause she sure took it over nuts or anything else at the moment. :thankyou

I would guess more likely she knew you wanted to take it away. If they see something as desirable to you, sometimes that is enough motivation for them to want it. :grin
Glad she is doing okay though for sure! I actually buy whole flax seeds and give a tiny bit occasionally.

My squirrel would cut me repeatedly for a button, and unless his daily intake if PLASTIC is low, I'm thinking it is because I don't WANT him eating my buttons. And don't get me started on the remote control...
