My daughter found 2 babys that fell, I am not at home so I can only relay what I know at this time, One is fine, the other had a bit of a bloody nose and seems to have a broken leg, I am in St.Petersburg Fl and need to find someone to take this one asap as I do not have money for a vet. In the mean time, by her description they are furred and eyes open so maybe 5-6 weeks old? I know I don't have a weight but could I give baby Tylenol? I do have adult tramadol that I have seen recommended here for pain, could I get just an average dose to give for that age? They just fell and my daughter saw Mom so I will have to check when I get home but they should not be dehydrated. I will be home in about an hour and will be away from my computer after that, I do not want him to be in pain while waiting to find some place for him, by the way they are greys. The healthy one I am going to try to reunite with mom, is that the right thing to do? for now they are being kept warm, I will find the goats milk recipe on here to feed when I arrive home, I know not to feed if they are dehydrated but should I feed the hurt one if he wants it or just hydration solution. Sorry for this all in one but as I said I will be away form the computer in about an hour and want to go home with as much info as possible. Thanks

One other thing can mom get a baby that size back up a tall tree to its nest?

He can take Infant Motrin or Tramadol --We can dose it for you when you can get a weight on the injured one.
Please keep the injured squirrel in a small crate, on a heating pad and in a quite area.

Homemade Pedialyte:
1 cup warm water
1/4 tsp salt (teaspoon)
1 Tbsp sugar (tablespoon)

Yes, mom will take her baby back up to the nest if she is still around...... have you tried to reunite the healthy one?

She took the baby out but could not see her, I will try again when I get home.
I will not be able to get a weight, I do have a gram scale I think but will be a way from the computer.

I have the injured one being kept warm, I got the home made pedailte recipe thanks, I have stalked the TSB for a while so I have the emergency protocol pretty much memorized, I will care for the wee one best I can till I can get some one to take him, as I said I don't think they are dehydrated because mom was near by, but I will check before feeding, but if not dehydrated should I give the hurt one the goats milk?

Fast update... I have them now and have checked them over. We have a girl - 89 grams and a boy 92 grams. No broken bones but both have bloody noses. They fell out of the tree on top of a car. Getting them cleaned up and hydrated and waiting for Jackie to dose for me.

Will get some pictures up later..thank you Tammy for taking them in and I will keep you posted on how they do.
Thanks TSB for the support.

Thank you Nana for the update, and just briefly want to tell how they were found, they fell on a young mans car with part of their nest, at first the young man was upset that some one threw stuff on his car then realized something was moving when he went to toss the stuff off, he called over another young man who is a friend of my daughter, knowing I have a squirrel he immediately rapped one in his shirt and brought it to her and informed that there was another, she ran to get it, and immediately called me for instruction, thanks to TSB Nana had them within a few hours. Both young men came over to check on the babys, I was touched they cared so much, and it was all my daughter could talk about all night!
Glad there were no broken bones and Love the names Mercedes and Bentley!
Thank You again Nana for getting them so quickly I know they will do well in your care.

Nana, Kristens baby Ralphie ( AKA Salad:pissed ) also had a bloody nose.
You know how when they are in YOUR hands all knowledge goes right out the window.
I told her to get an eye dropper and gently get any liquid out of the nose with that.
Put olive oil or coconut oil around the openings of the nose so it doesn't get crusty.
HYDRATE HYDRATE HYDRATE even if it is a few drops every few minutes.
I am wondering what you did since we seem to get so many with bloody noses.
We need a new sticky some where for the bloody nose. If we dont already.:poke
