Has anyone given dried cranberries to 8-9 weekers? I know, it is not something that they will find in the wild and in my nik of the woods once released, but I thought it might be a nice treat! :grin3

Eighteen total currently, 2 older NR's 1 teen and lots 'o babies' and they all get craisins. I noticed in one of my older guys whose abdomen seemed distended and his urine was strong that it helped him tremendously and literally overnight. He was my first one to give them to a few months back. So far I haven't had any issues other than several don't like them and the 9+ wks sometimes just chew on them and spit them out. Lot of sugar in them but hey, we give ours banana chips also in very small quantities. Cherrios are great as a treat, we use them with our chin's and prairie dogs too. Mainly I keep rodent blocks and HHB's in the all the cages even though we end up throwing lots away they are always there for them. Avocado and sweet potato seem to pack the weight on them pretty good.

yes I have given, not that young but they liked them. 8-9 weeks they should still be on their Bottles! if you spoil them to certain foods now, they will not eat their henry's blocks! :D
