I have a 6 month old male squirrel "George" about a month ago he started to lose some of his hair at the base of his tail and slowly more and more hair fell out. I looked all through TSB to find out any information I could about molting because that is what I thought was going on but now I am really getting nervous about his hair loss. This is what he eats, I do have to admit that I did give him corn and nuts to much and I fell horribly about it now, I haven't giving him corn in over a month now and cut way back on the nuts. Mornings (now) he will get two home made Henry's blocks and two home made squirrel nut squares that I get from the squirrel man at squirrelnutrition.com and a small amount of greens, like dandelions or some salad greens for mid day a hand full of greens and a henrys block and dinner another henrys block and a nut square, veggies broccoli, squash, dandelions greens, pea pods, apple, grape, cherry tomato and avocado. He really doesn't like to eat his veggies so most of it is just wasted. I started giving him a tums yesterday and today he actually likes them and a table spoon of yo baby toddler version yogurt. I am going to try to attach pictures first time doing this so I hope I don't mess it up

Do you have any Revolution flea treatment?

The photos look like mange mites to me. One of mine had them when she was a baby. One treatment of Revolution cured the problem in short order.

The kitten formula is best, but the cat one is fine too. It only takes one drop.

I just want to make sure this is what you want me to get

If you have dogs or cats or know someone who has them and a regular vet, they should sell it to you for the other pets.

I can call my vet in the morning, I have a dog and a cat

Scott_FL

That is the correct one. If you have a vet that will prescribe it for you, go that route for sure as it will take longer buying it online.

Remember...1 drop is all you need to use.

I just called my vet and she will not give me the Revolution flea treatment unless they see my "kitten" aka squirrel George, so is Joe's pet meds a good place to buy revolution.

I have purchased from Joes Pet Meds twice in the past. It is not as fast as getting the meds from a vet, but you should have them in a week or so. You can always take one of your dogs or cats in and get a prescription for them. Tell the vet you want to try Revolution on them for fleas and/or heartworms. A larger size than the kitten one will just give you several more treatments if needed since it only takes a drop.

I already ordered the revolution from Joes Pet Meds, the email said it ships out next business day and I should receive it 4-7 days, I think George will be ok to wait that long shoudn't he?

The reason it takes a while to get it, it is coming from overseas/it will be called "STRONGHOLD" it is the same as Revolution in this country, but in order to get Revolution you have to have a vet write you an RX/so I have got it from overseas, again Stonghold///now as far as my cats I noticed it no longer works, or maybe it really is not the same as Revolution :dono I was told by an employee at Petco that the FDA made them remove the ingredient in Revolution which made it work, I am assuming the same for all flea meds :sanp3 I am currently using Advantage II for cats along with Capstar, ...sorry to thread jack...
I am sure the Revolution (Stronghold) will work for your squirrel :thumbsup

No it isn't Abby. I have ordered from Joe's Pet Meds and it is REVOLUTION - same packaging - exactly - that you would get in the US from your vet. Mine shipped from Australia and I got it in one week - and that was the week of July 4th so I lost a postal day with the holiday.:thumbsup

I went to look and when I clicked on it said Stronghold :thinking well that is good anyway...but I haven't had luck with any flea products much lately, then again in Florida so that may be why :sanp3
OK I see why, I clicked on cats up to 25 LBS. Then yes it is Stronghold, for Kittens it is Revolution :thumbsup
