Someone referred a girl in Portland OR to me. She found an older squirrel that she thinks might have been poisoned. Do we have any member that can help her out?

Does she know poisoned by what? Is she pushing fluids?

I'm having her push fluids but I don't think she knows how it was poisoned. I think she just found him and assumed hes been poisoned because he's not responding.

His breathing is shallow now, do we have anyone near her???

The rehabber told her it was most likely head trauma and there wasn't anything she could do. So she's going to bring him to a vet to be euthanized :/

Oh no, geez, that is sad. Do you know if the rehabber at least looked
at the little one? I sure hope so.:(

No she didn't :/. She said she normally isn't quick to judge but that he sounded like a hopeless case :/

Well the bad news is that she found ANOTHER squirrel after she got home from the vet. The good news is that the rehabber took this one in! So that contact ended up going to very good use Nancy!

Well the bad news is that she found ANOTHER squirrel after she got home from the vet. The good news is that the rehabber took this one in! So that contact ended up going to very good use Nancy!

Oh thank God, she has always come very very highly recommended, so this is great news.
