Food? How much?

Does anyone happen to know if Oxbow Regal Rat Food or Exotic Nutrition Deluxe Squirrel Food would work in place of

Henry's Healthy Blocks for Flying Squirrels? If so, how much should i give my squirrel (per day)?

That is not a good option. The Henry's or even Mazuri blocks are not seeds and nuts, they are packed with nutrition. The Henry's are a bit pricier, but the difference is amazing. Also, you only need to use a couple per day of the HHBs so it is easier to be sure that their nutritional needs are met.

Honestly, I am not sure, but I know it is a bowlful as opposed to 2.:grin3 Not to mention that Sammy won't touch the other blocks!:sanp3

I think i am going to try both blocks and see which Rufus (my southern flying squirrel) prefers. Ive heard that you only give around two HHBs per day. How many mazuri's would i be giving per day?
