Hi everyone, I'm new here and I am glad to have found this board. I found a baby 3 weeks ago and he is triving and sadly I know I have to release him. I want his release to be a good one. I know am not qualified to do so. It breaks my heart as I have become very close to him :Love_Icon However, I do realize that it is the only and best option for him. The problem is that rescues or rehabbers here seem to be scarce. Or at least I think so bc I have not been able to locate one, that seems reputable. If anyone has info and or a good experience as to a place I can take him to I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

All of our babies will need over-wintering even here. Sorry you didn't notice that I am in this area. I am sure when mine go outside that I will have room for one more. Squirrels can be like soup-just toss in another cup of water-so to speak. Mine are all 8 weeks or more right now. How old is your baby?

Hi thanks for the reply. I have not had a chance to call you I work crazy hours. I will contact you. I estimate mine is about 10 weeks old. He's really active now and thats one fo the biggest reason I know he needs to be exposed to other babies as well. It kills me to let him go but I want him to have the best life possible. Im sorry I hadnt got back to you sooner. When is a good time to call? Thanks so much!!!

You call anytime, all I have is a cell phone and I try never to let it stray too far-although I swear it has a mind of it's own!
