I have three baby rats about 3 1/2 weeks old. I have no clue what I'm doing now. they're eating foods now. I don't know where to begin to start to go about releasing them into the wild. Is there anyone on here who can please take them. on top of all that... one became whodeeni (sp?) And my dad freeked out. i hope someone can take them to release them properly rather than me just having to turn them lose without proper settings or time. I'm in Citrus County, Florida. PLEASE help. :-(

Basic care for squirrels, but basically applicable to all rodents:

A link about someone raising a mouse:

You might try PM'ing the author of that thread (Unikorgrrl) to ask her advice. She's often on at night.

I'll ask an admin to rename this thread so that people will be altered that you need help in your area.

Good luck!

Bump. I know nothing of FL or who we have there, but do we have anyone who could take these? Who lives where is not my strong suit.

I'm in Gainesville, FL but I'm swamped right now...plus not super familiar with rats either. If someone is able to take them, can you travel?
