View Full Version : Formula/block question :D

The FV formula is amazing, first and foremost. You guys really helped me save these babies! And I have also noticed their fur is sooooooo much softer since switching from the GM to the FV. It also seems like their senses have heightened significantly since switching over. Not to mention, they are learning very quickly. Now, onto the question at hand. I won't be able to purchase blocks for another two weeks, and they are about 8 weeks old, will they be fine as long as I continue upping their ml amount? Sir (we named him Flapjack) weighs 162 grams at the 10:30 pm feeding, and Miss (who we named Bubby) weighs 151 grams at the last feeding and both continuously gaining weight like little champs. And Flapjack has gotten over his "I'm not touching this" phase. He eats every last drop (always wants more but mama won't let him overeat :nono ). They both have insane appetites. And now they are getting to the point where they are up for a couple hours at a time after they eat, playing with each other and their toys. So since they are doing well, do you think they can go up to 10 weeks until the blocks are ordered?

(wow, that was much longer than I had expected it to be!!)

Thank you beautiful people for the help!

Yes, they will be just fine...... as long as you are feeding them at 5-7% of body weight per each feeding the extra
two week wait will not harm them. You can give them some safe branch pieces to chew on in the mean time (to
help keep their teeth trimmed down) from the safe tree list until the blocks arrive.

Oh thank you so much!! I have been feeding him (for the past couple days) 11 cc's, and her 10 cc's. They always seem very fulfilled. A couple weeks ago I cut a couple of sticks off of the giant maple we have in the back yard, I cut new ones earlier this week for them also and threw out the week old ones. (I figured they pee and poo all over their cage, I am sure the sticks get some of that too, despite the fact that I clean their fleece blankies every 2 days :P ) That makes me super happy knowing that they will still be healthy for the next couple weeks!
Thank you thank you thank you! :grouphug
