I believe (don't quote me on this though) that you have to be active with a current licensed rehabber for a certain amount of time. I believe you also have to have certain educational courses under your belt. Also, they have to inspect the area you will be using to rehab the squirrels, the outside release quarters need to be to a certain dimension, as well as the inside living quarters. That is all I have been able to find on this though. Like I said, don't quote me word for word, I've found very little information on it :(

You have to contact Fish and Game, not to long ago they had an app you could print and send in , now it has changed that app is only available to renew, now if you are a newbie you have to call them and I assume they tell you what is needed etc...I would assume they wish you to work under a certified rehabber for a period of time, I know there is a lady in Henniker NH by the last name of Colby her full name is on the fish and game site.
