Squirrel nursery advice

My sweet husband is building me a squirrel nursery in our basement! We'd like to get it done before next baby season! This spring I had 14 babies at one time and that's a lot to have in my sunroom! Right now I have 9 and usually average between 5 and 14 so it would be so much easier if I had a room designated just for my babies! I would love any advice on what to put in there or equipment needed or design and layout. I don't want to get it built and then realize I forgot something important! Any and all suggestions welcome! What a great hubby you have! A mini kitchen would be on my list with a small sink, microwave and mini fridge as well as a secure cabinet for storing supplies. Otherwise you are going to be running up and down the stairs a lot.
