Could you give a quick background on this squirrel? There are just SO many to keep track of.

My advice would be to rub some molasses on her gums. The sugard and minerals often bring them around and can stimulate appetite and thirst. If you don't have molasses, another syrup or sugar will do, but I'd recommend getting molasses.

When you say "won't eat" are you speaking of formula? If not just that, what has he been fed/eating?
I noticed in one of your other posts you mentioned "raw dog chew antlers," are these bone antlers or made of rawhide?

the only thing he eats is formula and an alfalfa block when I say won't eat I'm referring to the formula and rehydration formula

Are you mixing the two? Formula and rehydration should not be mixed. Also, what formula are you using?

How long was the medication taken for?
its usually for 7 to 10 days, maybe your little one needs to be on it longer?

Had another recently with a blockage, this also sounds like what they described.
Question about the "raw dog chew deer antlers" you didn't answer was to try and figure if
maybe something was caught in throat, rawhide could do this.
The apperence of "dry heaves" could be from various reasons including gasping for breath.

he doesnt eat deer chew rawhide stuff.
not mixing the hydration and milk formula.
it a puppy formula called nutrience.
he was on his antibiotics for 9 days got off them 2 days ago.

update:
used corn syrup instead of molasses he drank about 2.5 mL of hydration formula became a little more active for 5-7 mins and is now sleeping

Perhaps the ABs should be continued? Did she decline after stopping?

Also, the formula is wrong. Puppy and kitten formula isn't suitable for squirrels. Here's how to make good formula. We recommend using it until you can order Fox Valley (http://www.foxvalleynutrition.com/product-lines/milkreplacers/):

http://thesquirrelboard.com/forums/showthread.php?29903-Do-NOT-USE-ESBILAC!-**TEMPORARY-Goat-s-Milk-Formula***

Also, you need to use proper feeding technique to avoid aspiration:

I have to go but I would HIGHLY recommend going out and getting the stuff for the GM formula and a bit of molasses.

I believe that Royal Canin puppy formula is available to you in the U.K. and others have had good luck with that.

Oh, yeah, you're right SM. Didn't catch the UK!

I think we have a member in the Newport/Wales area who might be able to provide help if needed.

Squirrels should NEVER be Feed Alfalfa!!!
This will Cause His Poop to Back up and Stop!!!
SQUIRRELS Don't eat Alfalfa! I Thank This Is what's causing the Problem.
""Alfalfa is for Hamsters, Rabbits, and other Grass eating animals.""
SQUIRRELS are a Rodent. They Need a Squirrel Block or Rodent Block.
