Hi, It is Frank's mom again. It seems that the consensus is to not attempt to release Frank again. Next question, should I introduce him to my dogs, cats, and parrots so he does not lead a solitary life- besides being with me? I have a huge cage in my big bathroom that is on rollers. I let him out everyday and we play for about an hour an a half in the bathroom. Should I move the cage into the living room where everyone else hangs out? I live on a farm so my indoor/outdoor animals are use to being around all different types of animals. Thank you. I know no one but you "guys" would understand these type of questions. Most people would think I am a wacko. haha ( : thanks!!

Well, you are a wacko, but so are all of us... :rofl4
The answer to whether he can be with your other animals is no. You really have to keep him away from the animals that are, by nature, predators.

..... Especially the cats.... Car saliva (even of they don't break the skin) is, from what I've read on here, toxic to squirrels. Antibiotics needed.
If course accidents do happen.
Stock up on a minimum amount of Baytril now just in case.

What kind of birds do you have?
Guys: do certain birds and squirrels get along? I'm thinking aviary....

Oops never mind... I see parrots.... Although my question about 'ok' birds still stands.

My squirrel that is a NR likes to hang out with my older dog that is 10 yrs old, very laid back & calm.
..... and when the pet bunny will allow it the squirrel likes to check him out too. :)

Yeah, cats are the big no-no. Some people have success with totally laid back kitties, but it's a big risk.
