Don't know what your squirrel is telling you? Let me translate. I speak fluent squirrel. I am sure others will chime in and post too!


ALARM CALLS: One is a whistling noise...... this means DANGER FROM ABOVE.
One is more a barking call..... this means DANGER ON THE GROUND

DEATH RATTLE: A chittering noise made with teeth .... this means. I'm gonna F**K you up bad if you keep it up.

PURRING: Sounds sorta like a cat purring.... . this means... I LOVE YOU, I'm so HAPPY.

TAIL HELD FLAT AGAINST BACK: Warning! DANGER DANGER... you may get bit soon.

TAIL HELD BEHIND AND FLUFFED UP: HELP! I'm scared..... looks like a cat's tail when he gets upset!

GROWLING: do I really need to tell ya what that means? you done messed up BAD.

SQUEAKING: OUCH! somebody bit me.

Love it!!! Its so true with Death Rattle!!! Umm I give the death rattle right back with a whispy noise "fffffffth fffffffth" right back at them. They cock their head to the side and turn around. Lol...my kids are amused by my speaking squirrel.

My hubby to be pissed me off one day...i gave him the death rattle followed by the fffffth fffffth....he said please stop your scaring me!

Hmmm, maybe Im a little to attached to these babes!
