How long til they pee??

Ok so I got these 2 baby girl squirrels yesterday and they were very dehydrated. I started the rehydration process as soon as I got them. (yes thy were already warmed up thanks to the rescuer) They are taking anywhere between 1-3 ml of rehydration water with salt and sugar added (I made my own) every 2-3 hrs for the last 15 hrs. This morning they are much more alert and active. One of the girls is no longer tenting. yay :crazy I stimulate them before and after each feeding and have only gotten poo from them... no pee. The poo is soft and golden not hard and black like my boys when I first got them. When should I expect some pee from them? :poke Oh and they are about 3 1/2 -4 weeks old. :grin3

Just keep hydrating and stimulating. Also, feel the bladder to make sure there is no UTI/blockage and the urine building up. That is very dangerous.

I would say with in the day after the tenting has gone we should start to see some pee --even if its just a drop or two.

bladder has been non palpable the whole time but now I got both girls to pee!!! I've never been so excited for pee in my life! LOL It was a fair amt and very pale. I expected it to be dark with as dehydrated as they were. Ordered my FV and it should be here by Tues. I'll transition them over to the GM formula when the time is right til the FV gets here.
