Question on the storage of antibiotics & ivermectin, once it's already dosed on a nut

This question is for both in the instances you are trying to either dose a squirrel with ivermectin for mange, or dose antibiotics for an infection. Say I dose a nut with either the ivermectin or antibiotics, and that squirrel does not come around to see me that day. Do I throw that dosed nut away and have to dose a new one whenever I see them, or can I keep that dosed nut for the next day, like in either a cool place or in the frig? I know the antibiotic mixture has to be refrigerated, and I think the ivermectin is NOT supposed to be refrigerated, but I keep it in a cool, dry place. I just wanted to know if I can keep the dosed nut for another day, if I can't use it the day I dose it. (They don't always stick around long enough for me to run and dose it once they are already here, so I'm trying to have one ready to go, you know what I mean?) :grouphug:thankyou:grouphug

I've got a dosed walnut, and a tiny piece of dosed cookie in case he won't take the walnut, and just wanted to know if he never comes around today, can I stick those things in the frig and have them still be good and effective tomorrow? (In this case, I'm referring to cipro laced nut and cookie, for Scrawny Guy with the bad eye)

I ALWAYS RETURNED MY LOADED PECANS TO THE FRIDGE IF MANGY MIKE DIDN'T SHOW...BOTH IVERMECTIN AND CIPRO. BTW, I ALWAYS KEPT MY IVERMECTIN IN THE FRIDGE AFTER I EMPTIED THE SYRINGE IT CAME IN INTO ANOTHER CONTAINER. CIPRO WAS MIXED WITH PEANUT BUTTER AND A DROP OR TWO OF MOLASSES.
