This has been worrying me for a while now, I have tried to find the rat block brand listed on the main site available for order in canada and I have no luck. I have been researching what they need through foods I can buy locally, but now I need to find a way to get it.

Are there any on the forum who have a large enough stock that they could sell some to me directly?

I've also just learned one of the things I've been feeding her- sunflower seeds should be avoided, so I'm feeling bad and want her to have all the nutrients she needs.

She is active and happy while awake, but seems to sleep more than she did before. I'm worried this is a side effect.

Thanks

Order Harlan Teklad blocks from chinchilla.ca. Or ask your local petshop if they can order it for you. Some of the smaller (non-chain) will order it.

I just ask the folks at chinchilla.ca to confirm shipping cost before I actually order.

In the meantime of your order coming in, check with your local petshop if they carry LIving World Extrusion for Hamsters. It doesn't contain everything the Teklad does but it'll carry you over until the order arrives. Then you can give it (extrusion) every once in a while as a treat.

That said, are we talking of an actual rat or a squirrel?

In this parallel thread http://thesquirrelboard.com/forums/showthread.php?41947-Vitamin-deficiency-or-blind-in-one-eye Fireweed mentioned that the shipping to Canada from Henry's has lowered.

The best of the best is Henry's Healthy Blocks. See the thread I posted above.
