Not necessarily life threatening but Iwonka is on the road on the way to the babies' caretaker's place and needs an answer ASAP.
We have 3 babies not quite 4 weeks old - weights 4 gr, 90 gr, and 93 gr - and they have a bad case of worms and fly eggs.
We are out of Capstar, all we have is Ivermectin. Can someone give us the proper dilution of water/Ivermectin and the individual dosage for each squirrel?

If iwonka has the book and that is the correct medicine, have her look at page 265.
She has to take 1 part ivermectin and to that add 9 parts of propylene glycol or steril water and shake well before using.
Administer immediately as it won't stay in the dilution well.
Now if she looks in the book she will see that the chart doses at 0.25mg/kg
However, it says that the excepton to this is rabbits and rodents who get 0.4-0.5 mg/kg
I am so reluctant to dose this drug, as it is lethal if given wrong.
I will go over it with iwonka if she wants, she can pm me and see what she would dose and I will do the same,
keeping these calculations in mind.

Thanks ladies. Iwonka had no computer at the time, so we went with the lower dosage... i.e. the .25/k - not the .4 - so hopefully there should be no problem.

I would suggest if mixing it w/ water to mix it well right before giving and to try and keep the syringe as level as possible as the ivermec is heavier than the water and it will all fall forward if tipped downward allowing for a larger dose given. It does not mix well with water at all.
