Possum question!

For the past week, I've noticed my male NR possum's appetite has declined. He hasn't lost any weight, he is still defecating which shows me he is eating something, and he isn't lethargic. He's been dewormed so he shouldn't have parasites. He's behaving completely normal but just isn't eating as much. He was exhibiting some nesting behavior recently Do possums go through seasonal times where their appetite will decrease? Should I be concerned?

Why is he an NR? Is it an injury/illness that may have something to do with it? Like a head injury? How old is he?

He was found injured in December with an abscess, wounds, and he is blind. He was treated for all of these but he is permanently blind (he has no eyeballs) and his tail is paralyzed. I've had him since January. A new development though is he has recently taken to sleeping in our bedroom with us *shrug*.

Aw, that's so sweet that he sleeps with you LOL! Anyway, do you think it could be due to something internal that's surfaced here 7 months later? I'm not a possum expert, just throwing out suggestions.
