There are a number on the market, some marked no sting.
Do they work ?
Are they usable on a somewhat mangled front paw.
Which brand is the best ?
This guy insists on chewing the bandages.
Vet put an entire full arm bandage on, to prolong how well the paw part stays attached.
But I am worried that the chewing will cause other problems.

LIES. I can tell you each and every one stings! What I would do is get some Bitter Apple spray and spray new bandaging before you put it on. That might discourage chewing. There is a liquid adhesive that is used to help bandages adhere to surfaces called Tincture of Benzoin that you can usually pick up at most pharmacies. It's not super-sticky, but it does the job. It stings a bit if it gets in a wound. I've used it for everything from skin cracks to difficult places to put a bandaid on.
Otherwise you will likely need to put an E-Collar on him. Making an E-Collar (http://thesquirrelboard.com/forums/showthread.php?40466-Making-an-E-Collar)

Thank you for the advice. I will skip the liquid bandages.
When you say spray new bandage, you mean to spray and let dry first before using?
Is an e Collar going to help with front paw?
would he not then focus all his efforts on the wound site?
Thanks for the sketch. I have seen it before, but finding it now was another story!

You can make the collar width a bit bigger to keep him from reaching the paw. Then you can usually watch and see if he can reach it, then make another with a bigger width.
And yes, I should have written that you let it dry first. Be careful to wash your hands afterwards! One taste of it and you'll be sorry! Made that mistake once.

PERFECT. I will give that all a try! Thanks for taking the time to respond!
