Poisonous trees? ???

Hi,

I can't seem to find the list of poisonous trees for squirrels? Does anyone know where it is? I just came accross an old post that made reference to it.

We put a giant branch in the cage yesterday that my husband found in our backyard. The squirrels seem to love it and we haven't had any problems so far (it's been a day). However, I noticed the post that some trees are bad and it freaked me out. I don't even know what kind of tree that branch comes from......

They love that branch and I don't want to take it away if it's ok. Plus, I know it will upset my hubby who will say I'm overreacting........

Help!!

I don't know what that is to help you Starfish. I know they can have dogwood, fruit trees, oak trees, maple trees, pecan trees.

Can you figure out what tree it came from? A picture of the bark and leaves from that tree would be great.
