okay my friend had 4 baby bunnies in her yard last night, we checked them today and three of them were dead stiff. we have the third, it is a bit dehydrated, and i need to know what to do. its eyes are closed but its ears are detatched from its head/neck. I have rescued 4 baby squirrels before, 3 of them made it outside alive and are having a fun life. I dont remember exactly what i did at first and it would be helpful for a refreshment of information. Thank y'all and please respond to this ASAP!!!

Here's a link while you wait for more experienced members. :) http://www.2ndchance.info/bunnies.htm
Stress can kill the babies so keep them in warm, dark, quiet place, please.
Could you look at the link provided and tell us his age aprox.? Could you also post a picture of him?

Quiet, dark, heat, fluids. Must make sure to potty before feeding, as they cannot go on their own. You can use fv, but mix it 3/1 initially. Are there any injuries?

She actually seems pretty strong for her age. This morning she was licking herself :p

He's probably 3-4 days old. Biggest concern is getting cecotropes (special nighttime poop). Do you have a domestic rabbit or know someone who does?

Oh and also, she went to the bathroom twice yesterday, but she hasn't gone last night or today yet. Is there some way to help her along? I tried stimulating her but it didn't really work. thanks.

Bunnies can take a while to get going. I hold under the front legs, letting bottom dangle. I use cotton balls dipped in pretty warm water and flick very quickly until they start (don't stop or he will once he starts.)

You'll need to put a funnel collar on the rabbit as they eat their own cecotropes. Put the rabbit with e-collar on in a wire bottom cage with newspaper underneath and you should have cecotropes in the morning. They won't dry out overnight. Then you can keep them in a ziploc bag for up to a week in the fridge and you should add it to his formula once a day until he's had his eyes open for 3 days, then he can have greens and timothy hay.

okay great, thanks so much :)
New to this forum so forgive any mistakes....My dogs got hold of 5 baby bunnies last weekend. I was able to save 2. Have had them a week now. Feeding them a mixture of goats milk, yogurt & KRM. One is nibbling on parsley & dandilion. They are in quite place w/ heating pad 1/2 of cage. I feel I am making progress, what else to do? Eyes open & ears up, so thinking ~2 weeks old or more. No rehabber in my area would take them as it known success rate is low. No access to fresh cecotrope but have rabbit poop. Any suggestions would be greatly valued.
