Right now, I am having a squirrel inside of my room. little thing accidentally came in to the room with my cloths . I don't know when it get inside cloths. Today is a rainy day. Maybe he wanted to sleep in a worm place ? :( anyway I didn't know it was there. so I throw my clots at the bed and he dropped ! POP! :(

now, he's so scared and I think he's hurt because he dropped. he's shaking badly

I wanna make him my pet. What should I do ? Open the window and Let him go out while heavy raining outside ? or pet him with good care and food ?

he's not European squirrel. he looks like this one.

I gave him rice and water. he eats when I quit the room. When I enter the room he's running away. he's trying to get away from me. :(

And yes. I closed the door and windows to cage him inside.
Call me Tupac, I am from Sri Lanka. I don't know anything about Mice or Squirrels.

Unfortunately keeping an already wild won't work. I would watch him carefully to make sure he is acting and walking o.k.. If he's injured in some way that will have to be addressed but if he's o.k. I would open all the windows and doors and let him be free when the rain lets up.

Though keeping him as a pet probably won't work, I would try to take really good care while he's your guest, and maybe he might even want to stay. Some wilds, a very few, will surprise you. But you'll want it to be his choice. He'll let you know if he's unhappy. For now though, the usual advice is to give them dark, warmth, and quiet so that they'll settle down. If he's injured, you'll get a better idea of that once he's not so upset.

Don't offer him junk food, as diet is SUPER important for squirrels. Right now I'd try to offer him some of the foods he'd eat in the wild, and maybe some yogurt, possibly sweetened if he doesn't like it as is.
