Hey, I have a male and female southern flying squirrel's. I have had them since they were babies and they both were fine for awhile. But after 6 months or so they started fighting. Then it got to the point where we had to separate them because they were drawing blood. We had them in separate cages beside one another and waiting a bit to see if it was something short term. Every time since then that we have tried to put them together they fight. Also the female is sweet but the male keeps to himself and stays mostly in his pouch.
Not sure what to do since I have been trying to put them back together for so long. Should I just stop trying? Any suggestions would help. Also they are about 2 years old now. (yeah I know its been awhile since they have got along).
