Hey, I'm Samira, I live in Florida, and I want to help baby squirrels get back into the wild. Or raise the ones who can't, but I'm not entirely sure how to get into all this. I mean, I've raised one before and got him into the wilderness, but it was my aunt who found him and brought him to me.
Anywho, hello!

Yep, Yep!! :Welcome My suggestion is to read, read, read every thread you can find. You'll need to learn first if possible. Learning in an emergent situation is much less FUN!!! There will be tons of rehabbers giving info on mot-so-everyday stuff, and there are threads about raising the babies. Nutrition and cage requirements are very important too. These guys are awesome, if you really put effort into it, they put effort into helping!! You can go ahead and start buying the supplies you need so you'll have everything on hand. Chances are that someone will need you soon!! Happy reading!! :multi

We're always glad to have more members in central Florida. Hang around and learn all you can. We always need helpers in Florida because baby season is almost year round. :thumbsup Welcome again. :)
